After World War 2 whole estates of these prefabricated temporary homes sprang up all over the UK.
They became so loved that almost 70 years on there are still some being lived in. Why were they so
loved, maybe the 2 large bedroom, or the indoor loo and luxury of luxuries a bathroom with hot and
cold running water, or maybe just maybe the fully fitted kitchen complete with the now iconic Smeg
refrigerator. How do I know, well in the early 50's I lived in one, and though you cooked in summer
and froze in winter ( they weren't insulated) they were perfect.
I have decorated and furnished it as close to a 50's/60's style as I could, so be prepared, as Patterns
ruled in that era, as did twin beds
most inconvenient

Thanks Boss, and you too Nonikk.. Have to ask how the devil are you, we hear so little from you these days..
Are you still playing? I'd love to see some of your new stuff if you are.. Please stay in touch so few of the old
crowd come around any more, or if they do they don't leave comments which is a shame..

You guys are all about The Sims 3 but I still play The Sims 2 and probably will never switch, that's the reason I kind of drifted away. I pop in once in a while though and take a look. Always top quality work to be found here, as per usual! Everything looks awesome!!
As awesome as Sims 3 can look ... I don't like the graphics.
Nowadays I hang out at Live Journal, where I have a "Main Blog". There is a thriving Sims 2 community there (though apparently drifting towards Dreamwidth now - the younger ones anyway). I'm mostly into stories, and that's why I joined. There are some absolutely fabulous creators there. You should see the pictures! The stories are good too. Like graphic novels. I still get new readers to my story about Riverblossom Hills, so that's cool. That particular hood died for me (I recently found out what could have caused it) and ever since I've tried repeatedly to start over. Then I decided to use SimPe and all cheats I could muster and try to recreate the hood as it was when the story ended. I've just finished it and as I for once documented the work, I am posting pics on my blog. Check it out if you like, you can find my blog here:

And I had a look at your allotment garden just the other day! I still have the pdf - and I think I will try and copy it. I'll give you all credit of course.
