The Butterfly House

I saw this house on a cable show I was watching and had to have it in my game. Of course it isn't an exact copy but I think it turned out pretty cool.

The original is built on the beach in the Hamptons, a ritzy 'hood located on Long Island in New York. It was built for a cost of $150,000 as a weekend retreat for the owners. Considering most people in the Hamptons spend that amount of money on kitchen remodels, the original house was a great bargain!

Check out photos and articles about the house, designed by Preston T. Phillips, here.

I was going to move in one of my testers to make sure it all flowed, but, I guess nengi and hubby decided they needed to downsize since the kids had moved out and they snagged it first! They seem quite content so I guess I'll let them stay!

Wowee! that is some super cool place, I love all the dune grass growing round, it gives great atmosphere..

I do wonder about some of the goodies, are they showtime content?, or just your clever use of patterns and

colour that has made them unrecognisable..  Either way this is a stunner...

Yes, a few of the objects are from Showtime but most of it is from previous EPs/SPs.  ;)

Hi BJ,

This place is so light and airy. Love it and with all my usual favourite colours such as the aquas and blues. Really beautiful. Boy do I have lots of things to catch up on, but I will get there eventually.  :gimme:

regards, Jen
Don't try to change someone to fulfil your own needs, accept them as they are and all your needs will be met.
