Wow! love that wall of tools, where did you get them? The apartments are awesome and very contemporary and modern. Love the internal brick walls too, they add some character to them.

Okay, first let me say that this is a lovely lot, just as it is. However, I was thinking of converting the one building into a seperate apartment, and having two families live on the same lot. I know there are some doors over at MTS that people use for that purpose. But before I go to the trouble of looking for them, how difficult is it to change a lot that's been zoned for apartments? I think I tried to alter one when Late Night first came out, and couldn't.
Thanks for your help. And if I can't change the second building, I'll still use this lot. (Have already added it to my game library)
I have a perfect place out in my industrial area. Mayor Jean-Paul and Nick Alto have begun an ' urban renewal' of that area. (They bought up all the real estate, first, of course! - on the QT) And they're using city tax-simoleons to fund their project. They're targeting "that artsy crowd" - mainly actors and musicians - "with more money than sense." "So amusing to have them at a party, but you know, mon cher, they aren't one of us!" (That's Gabrielle Ettiene talking to her BFF Vita Alto, at a recent dinner party - she's not a big help when it comes to re-election.)

I think I tried to alter one when Late Night first came out, and couldn't.

First you need to enter a few cheats to be able to change apartment lots:

1. RestrictBuildBuyInBuildings off and 2. buydebug on

The first one lets you change all things outside of the "apartment" itself, like the public area and such.
The second lets you see all the shiny ballthingys which are placed on the lot to make it function as an apartment.

a. Remove all the shiny balls!

b. Remove the apartment mailbox!

c. Remove the callbox (you can see it on CII's 7th pic)

d. Remove and replace the front doors to the apartment units (they are probably set to function as NPC doors, so removing them and placing new ones, should fix that)


Me thinks that's all.....  :think:
